When I put my run function on - screen gets blurred until I finish the run.

I have had no problems with the watch for 18 months - it has just started over the last 3 days
Try a factory reset. If that does not fix it and since you are out of warranty you are out luck. Throw it out and buy a new watch from another brand (TT Sports went out of business over 18 months ago).
