Problem with the registration of my VIA53

Just been given a VIA 53 as a present, have created a TOMTOM Account but when I try to add my product by using the " How to add your product " I get the following message "This page isn’t working www.tomtom.com redirected you too many times."
Any ideas and will this effect my life time updates, I can and have updated via WiFi so all is good from that point .

The Via 53 is related to the MyDrive Connect software which you will only need in the event that your Wifi download speed is slow or some other problem situations. If you have downloaded that software and without the unit connected you have the option to add a device. If that is not working then you can contact Customer Support to resolve it.

I have downloaded and installed the "My Drive Connect "Software and I cannot register my device if it is connected or not, will contact TomTom UK tomorrow.0
