No maps - Your device is not responding
Wonder if anyone can help with this. Yesterday was the first time I have turned it on my Blue&Me TomTom 2 in awhile and got the waiting for valid GPS signal message all day. So I am trying to update it. It connects to my computer fine and the downloading starts but after about 5 minutes my computer says my device is not responding. The screen on the TomTom is still connected and still shows the download progressing. After about 30 minutes and around 50% complete the TomTom changes to say something has gone wrong the connection to the server is lost. And now there are no maps on it at all! I keep trying to do the map download again but get the same disconnect first showing on the computer then much later on the TomTom. Help!
