TomTom Carminat - "Can't use the map on this Device"

Hi, Hope someone can help.

Recently did the GPS update and now my SD card will not work. States that I "cannot use this map on this device - Switching to Europe" it then does nothing, freezes,

Deleted the Loopdir but this didnt work either. Stupidly didn't back it up before the GPS update.
Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Hello to everybody,
    I have the same problem. I bought my Renault Megane 2 years ago and got built-in navigation system inside. Yesterday I updated it for the first time and now I am not able to use it since when I push my card inside I get a message: You can not use this map on your device! There is a following text onto my card: Renault TOMTOM EUROPE 2013 25920 0781 R.
    Please help me how to solve this issue.

    Hi @cojicdanijel

    The map has been reactivated on your account.

    Just remove the existing map first and then download a fresh version offered in TomTom HOME.

    I seem to be getting this error with my Clio's built in TomTom. Would it be possible to get my map reactivated? (UK and Ireland)

    @VikramK I have a similar problem. When the card is inserted in the car I get the message: "Problem with the map, You cannot use this map on this device: Europe-825"

    As I understand from previous posts first I need to remove the current map, and I am not sure how to do that. Can you please elaborate.

    i am getting the following error message when I insert the SD card: Problem with the map, You cannot use this map on this device: United_Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 102448. From previous posts it sounds like the map needs to be re-activated. Can you help? Thanks.
