How to import POIs, GPX files and Favourites in MyDrive
I had already completed all that and saved the .OV2 file on my PC.
I have imported it into My Drive, but it is not transferring to my Go5200.
Are these files compatible ?
Once it is on Mydrive, should it automatically transfer to the 5200 ?
I have tried it connected, or via wifi.
Do I have to force it somehow ?
The video says it should happen automatically.
Its only 3kb.
Yes if your unit is showing that it has connected to your account ie the Cloud icon Top Right after you Tap Menu is Bold. it should sync automatically and be listed in My Places on the unit under your Favourites if you have any.
If the Icon is not Bold then the unit is not connected.
Tap menu
Tap Settings
Tap Mydrive
Check it says Stop Syncing bottom right.
If it isn't then you need probably put in the Account Password and log in.
Some old POI files won't work on the latest devices
Try Loading the POI into the Online POI Editor and saving it back to your desktop
Here,,, http://www.poieditor.com/
Then try loading the file again
As far as I'm aware it changes/updates the POI file header
How much free space does your GO 5200 have ???
Tap 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Setting --> System --> About... Scroll down to Free space
The absolute bare minimum is 400MB... The more Free space available the the quicker the device will process the data
Solution (as suggested above) was to load the file into POI editor, then save it and upload back to MYdrive.
It then uploded to the device immediately.

Thanks.
It is connected, cloud is bold and there is a button to stop syncing.
So something is wrong in that it is not automatically loading this file.

Looks like it. Should be okay. Maybe try loading it into something like Poi Editor and saving it there as an .OV2 file. and try again.
