    Which Carminat do you have? Carminat (older one, without Live-Services) or Carminat 2.0 Live (newer one, with Live-Services)?
    Have you try to install the Navcore 9.884, as I described above?
    Have you ever purchased a Map-Update or a Map-Update-Service (four Maps per Year) via TomTomHome?
    Have you initialized the SD-Card in your Car?
    What files and folders are currently on your SD-Card?

    Questions over questions...
    But I can't help with your little Information.

    Hi to all,

    My problem is similar but with some nuances.
    I have a Renault Scenic 3, from 2013, with a Carminat 2.0 (Live Services).
    Since some weeks ago, without changing anything, whenever I add a route, it usually starts and after 2/3 minutes it freezes and reboots.

    I've updated everything with TomTom Home software, and the problem persists.

    Please help me.

    To reset your device, turn off the engine, then remove the memory card. Reinsert the memory card, wait 30 seconds, then turn the engine back on.

    I performed the reset to Carminat but the problems persist.
    At the moment I don't know what I can do.

    I've tried everything and the reboot problem persists, the strange situation is why it only happens when there is a route defined.

    HI Group....
    I have rebooted my carminat using the above link to the navcore and its kind of ok again however I am getting the "unable to use maps on this device"? I backed my card up and updated it etc.
    Can anyone help please?/

    Welcome to the community! A map has been reactivated on your account, just remove the existing map first and download a fresh version using TomTom HOME.

    Please forgive the daft question but do I have to buy the updated map or will an update sort it out.

    If you buy the map, you are only entitled to one update.
    If you purchase the map update service, you will be able to download 4 updates, one per quarter.

    HI again.
    I have tried to update from TOMTOM go and keep getting this error message? on TOMTOM home..

    I have tried to put the update onto a blank SD card also to no avail?

    The SD card is in the reader in the laptop so I havent disconnected?

    Can anyone give me an idea what to do please.

    Did you first insert the blank SD card into the carminat for it to copy the files so that it is recognized by Tomtom Home.

    Yes I did that with the blank SD to no avail?
    Do the maps added to my account need a code adding on Tom Tom home ?? To Match the update I did on the unit ??
