OK. I tired to start my TomTom and nothing. The last time it worked it would give a message saying "Charging Battery" so I shut it off so it could charge. Now it won't start. Any suggestions?

Connect the device to the computer for a couple of hours at least to ensure the device is charged. It can be off.
Then......
try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.6 -

Hi @Ewetwo
If you have an Apple or similar phone mains charger that you can plug the USB cable end into then use that to charge the TT unit up for at lest 2 hours. The Output from a Computer socket is quite low.
You can get replacement batteries from Flea bay etc

Thank you. It finaly started but I think the battery is going on it as it showed the image of the battery almost completely drained. Might be time for a new one. I hate to throw it out but that's the way things are now. Into landfills.0

another question. Does the battery charge if you turn it off? Or does it have to be turned on to charge?0
