I connected the device with TomTom MyDrive and started a WNRO update. After some time the update failed and now I am left with a device which says it has no maps and which won't connect with MyDrive or Home.
The device is detected my USB and MyDrive briefly sees it but then it drops offline and won't connect again. I have tried to connect with Home but that won't see the device at all.
A bit stuck now really as I can't think of any other way to reset it back to factory defaults or bring it back to life.
Does anyone know if there is a way round this or is it time to sling it in the bin?

Hi
@ckilner
Try…..
Download & install the free version of Revo Uninstaller
Here...https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Revo first uninstalls the Program... Then scans and removes all of the left over files a normal uninstall leaves behind
(1)... Uninstall MyDrive Connect Using the Revo Uninstaller
(2)... Clear your browsers cache (Optional, but I find it helps)
(3)... Restart your PC (Not Turn Off & Turn On again)
The Start 42 uses MyDrive Connnect
Reinstall MyDrive Connnect (Without your device connected)
Connect & Turn on your device... Login to MyDrive Connect
