If you have not got any extra memory installed then get a Micro SD Class 10 Memory card. Sandisk or Samsung or similar major maker from a reliable source to avoid Fake cards
!6gb or Max 32 Gb card recommended
This will enable the unit to be updated as the European Map will now load on the extra memory card and delete the old one on the internal memory.
The European map is now as much as 8.9gb whereas you internal memory is only 8gb and is needed if the Operating Software and still have 400mb of free space for operational purposes.
When you inserted the card did the GO6000 ask you what you wanted it to be formatted for . Ie Maps or Routes
Is there already a map on the extra memory.
Have you tried a Soft Reset. Hold the ON/OFF button down fro about 20 seconds until you hear the drum roll sound.. If that does not sort it the a Factory Reset. Tap Menu, Tap Settings, Tap System Tap Reset Device. Make sure your unit is well charged before doing the resets and with the Full Reset it will delete all your Favourites (MyPlaces), Poi and Route Files. The nit has reset these should be synced back to the unit from your account.
