anyway to reverse route I just rode? on 550 rider
Last trip I took with my tomtom 550 was great one way, but when I reached the destination and chosen go home it took completely different route, longer and via toll roads despite of my avoidance settings.
Any way to reverse last route to go kinda back track?

I don't think that is an option in the Rider. Route programs like MyRouteapp.com have this function. Well, in the Gold (payed) version that is. There might be other progams. My Osmand app on my smartphone has it. But that does not help you.1

A reverse route function has been requested many times on this forum.
I'm sure TomTom carry out a survey of users to prioritize developing new functions:
Reverse a route: 24 votes
Read SMS text messages on the Rider: 25.000.000 votes.

Here... https://mydrive.tomtom.com
Plan your Route... Save/Sync Route to your MyRoutes to the device
Reverse the Route... If required Rename your Route
Save/Sync Route to your MyRoutes to the device

Shame you cant just press a button while out and about!!!!!2 -
Whilst there is a work around, pressuring a button to reverse saved route is the solution. I would have thought this would be a welcomed software update0

This has been asked for many many times for many many years but TomTom have far more important functionality that needs to be implemented.
Of course it could be that they don't know how to do it.0 -
Reversing a route is more difficult than you think.
Just reversing the order of the route point will produce big route faults when a route point is placed in a one way street or at the wrong side of a motorway.
So there has to be a simple way to display and fix problems like this. I think this will be almost impossible on a screen as small as on the Rider.
The algorithm for mapping tracks to the road used in a Rider will be more capable for reversing tracks. But also in this case you can get strange changes.
Sometimes I drive a track in the reverse order with my Rider. To do this just load the track but don’t hit Drive.
Click the arrow above zoom to get the correct display mode.
Now you see the track but you won’t get instructions.
Be careful not to drive in to one way streets.
This method should also work with routes.1 -
on the rider 5, the 2013 model and the ones before, there was a button, said reverse route. guess it wasn't so hard back then ??
lots of routing/planning was removed from that model to the 40/400 and never added or anything.0 -
My Zumo 550 had a reverse route function0

As far as I know the reverse route function in the Older Nav3 Rider and Zumo's just reverse the via-points like you can with MyDrive.
Like I mentioned Just reversing the order of the route point will produce big route faults when a route point is placed in a one-way street or at the wrong side of a motorway.
To illustrate this a created a route in MyDrive
Via point 1 is a one way-street
Via point 3,4 and 5 are on the correct side of the road.
After reversing
Via point 5 (old 1) is a one-way street now in the wrong direction.
Via point 2,3 and 4 (old 3,4 and 5) are now on the wrong side of the road.
resulting in this nice route
This is not a route you like to ride but is a route is made for a traveling salesman it’s not possible to skip stops at customer locations. The Rider doesn't know why you placed a via-point (Stop)
This is why I think it is important to always review a reversed route. Personally, I think the Rider 550 screen is too small for this task.
