How can I correct a bug in program?

I updated TomTom approx. 4/5/2019. First I had some odd issues with download (screen going blank, then to logon page for laptop, then back to MyDrive Connect, then repeating for hours). So, I deleted MyDrive Connect & downloaded it again. Update ran fine after that. Today as I was driving, the GPS every now & then threw in erroneous instructions - "sharp left turn" , "in 50 yards turn right (or left)". I was on interstate & had 70 miles to go before any turns...... Perhaps the first download issue loaded some bugs into GPS???? How can I wipe clean or debug? Thx
