MyDrive keeps loosing connection to SatNav
I recently purchased a new SatNav and I'm having real trouble getting it to update. I've downloaded MyDrive and I can connect my device briefly for a few seconds. The connection will then be lost and I have to reconnect. It will show as being connected again for a few seconds before loosing it and the process repeats.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Re "Download/installation interrupted".....
The Computer Manufacturers appear to be setting "USB Selective Suspend" to ON as default... Especially Laptops, maybe to improve the appearance of the battery life
Are your USB ports set for power saving "USB Selective Suspend"

Click on link and scroll down to "Turn Off USB Selective Suspend"
Also turn off any Screen savers any other Power savers or USB port monitoring software installed

Random Disconnects on Surface Pro 3 & 4
Do you have or have access to a 'Surface Dock', if so plug your device into a USB port on that. Others have found that to work
On the Win10 tablets, Microsoft has hidden the "USB Selective Suspend" menu
You will need to edit the Registry for the USB Selective Suspend menu to show

I have the same problem with my TomTom Start 60 ... keeps losing the connection when trying to update the maps.
