I have a recorded route on my device which I need to transfer to my laptop to a, clear space in the memory and b, to refer to at a later date. I have tried the "Share Tracks" facility and it tells me to "Insert different memory card" which I haven't got.

Hi @SteveGO520
Any route recorded on the Device has to be exported via a Micro SD card added to the Unit.
Firstly the Map to which the unit relates must be on the Internal memory when you do this. It is possible to change maps from Internal to external memory.
You need to remove any Card in the external memory slot and insert a new card, it can be quite a small 1gb memory card as the route files are not large. Then you use the Share etracks facility you have already mentioned.

Thanks Doug for your reply. I hoped/assumed that I could just plug it in and upload it to my laptop or even do via Windows Explorer but. nope. I can't. At least I now know I need to buy another SD card. Many thanks for your help, much appreciated.
