I have firmware version 1.7.64...update was early March it seems. But recently the watch seems not to want to hold charge. Yesterday it was charged via computer USB all day and overnight sat on then table doing nothing but only showed about twenty percent charge when I went for my run this morning. A similar update stuffed up my wife's Runner 3 a while back (1.7.53?). Has Tom Tom done it again with this update that was supposed to fix one issue one creating others?

There has not been an update since March of 2018, so I am not sure why you are just getting the update now. TT Sports went out of business 18 months ago and ceased all production and development. If you search the forums you will find this is a known issue for many users with the 1.7.64 update. Try letting the battery fully drain and then do a factory reset and if that does not work go to this post and ask the moderator to roll back your firmware version to 1.3.255 which may fix it.

Thanks for that...looked back and yes you are right, I missed the fact that the update was 2018....just assumed it was recent as the issue has just appeared.0 -

As I understand it Tom Tom exited the sports watch business some time ago....still does in car navigation devices though.0
