Wrong Speed Limits Shown.

Just purchased the Yearly Subscription.
Unless this can be fixed, I will wish I had not.
I drove through my town where the Speed Limits have not changed in over a year, and it mis reported speed limits in numerous locations.
It reported a 60 Limit in 40 zone, and numerous 40 limit in 30 and 20 zones.
If it is not correct in my town, where I know the limits, how the hell am I supposed to trust it when I am on a location where I do not know the limits, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Also on my old sat nav, it displayed lay bys and parks that were on the road I am driving, which was very handy, as if you needed to stop for something you could easily see on the screen if a layby/park was near.

Is this possible?

If these cannot be addressed and fixed in the case of incorrect speed limits, then I will have to treat this as a Bad decision, and use some other App/SAT NAV that has up to date information.
I have quickly tried a few of the free ones on google store, and these all reported the correct speed limits, makes me wionder how old the map data is that Tom Tom is using).

First of all I read what is posted on road signs.

What ever country you are living in you should know what the speed limits are.
Even when you cross over into another country that info is posted.

Getting a ticket because the GPS app is wrong will not hold up in court.
It is every ones job to know what the speed limits are......

Yes GPS app do make mistakes.
If so then report them in the correct way to get them corrected.

SO how does one report these?
how quick would they be corrected?
    How Old is the Data...?

The Beep notification is a very handy feature when nearing a speed limit, but is only valid if the data is correct.

You can even do this yourself with this link:

Do not hold your breath it does not go 123.
They have to check what your are reporting before the change is made.
