With very little to go on, it's difficult to know where to start, or where you're at in the overall scheme of things, but just to begin with, are you using the original USB cable that came with your device? Do you have the correct device interface software installed? (I'm not familiar with the Start series, so I can only assume it would use either, "TomTom Home" or "TomTom My Drive Connect"). And lastly, which version of Windows are you using?
All of these things can have a major impact on the problem.

Have you got your Usb Cable from Start 25 plugged directly into the imputes and not into a USB hub.
