GPS Coordinates

Hi!
Is it possible to see the GPS coordinates to a specifik point on the map? I can see the coordinates to my current position, but need to see the coordinates to other positions as well, for instance when I like to share a specifik position to a friend.

You can only see the Co-ordinates of the position you are currently at.

Can I suggest if you have a Smart Phone you download the free Mapzone app.

This was developed by TT years ago. You can view maps in Satellite view like Google Earth , its called Hybrid View..

You enter an address and you can see the position on the Map. You can even more the map around. Now when you are happy with the exact position on the map you are shown the Long/Lat and a Mapcode.

Mapcodes are like UK Post codes which you can enter on a Tomtom unit and is nearly capable of picking out a Parking Bay in a Car Park.. For example if you input 77N3.GM in Norway it would take you to the Entrance Gate of a property in Valjednvegen, 2918, Ulnes. So using that map you can Tap on the Long/Lat and copy it to a message if you want.

You can go onto the Mapzone website and see how it works. map codes only work on Tomtom units but not in MyDrive but in that case you can Cut and paste the Long/Lat into MyDrive.

Thank you for quick answer. It's a pitty that TT does'nt show the information as they did in earlier devices/software. I just hope that they will show this important information in future versions.
