My touchscreen does not work of go 5100

Touchscreen does react to any commands.
I replaced it but it doesnot help , also the new one does the same.

    If a factory Reset did not resolve it then it looks fatal I am afraid. You could see if you can find anyone who can repair Tomtom and see how much that will cost. Tomtom may not be prepared to repair it if the screen has been replaced.

    I have found the cause, there are 2 versions of Touchscreen in use , in my case it is the Hannstar version , I bought a none Hannstar version.
    It can only be noticed at the back of cover where the display is connected to the digitizer
