VIA 1505M updating issue using mydrive connect -Making the internet connection.

I am trying to update my VIS1505M. I have the latest MyDriveConnect installed (for a Mac) but I keep getting the same message that there is no internet connection! The sign also says that a connection will be be made when the internet is available. But everything is connected, and I have great internet connection. I have updated maps before and have never had this problem. What to I do??

    Yes. I have been using it for some years now and have not had any trouble. I tried turning off my security system (Kaspersky), but that didn't help.
