VIA 1515M Secondary and major highways.

When I opt to avoid highways, my VIA avoids major and secondary hwys. I want to use secondary hwys. How can I do this?

Just tp clarify, in Ontario, Canada, the major highways are called the 400 series, i.e. Hwy 401, 400, 404, 410, etc. They are always jammed with traffic, which is why I don't like driving on them. All other highways are considered secondary highways. Those are the ones I prefer to use. I like to enjoy my ride :) :

It looks like no one else knows how to accomplish this either. Has anyone out there figured it out? Thank you.

Once a route has been established, you can choose Current route-->travel via and select 427, 27 or 2 for example.

By the way, the latest models with the current software include: Avoid motorways when route planning. Not sure how that would affect the selection of alternatives to the 400 series.
