Very unhelpfully the support FAQ says to check if my USB is connected, of course it is! Simply put i am connected to the computer but it says i am not. can anyone help as Tom tom support seems destined not to help me.

    Hi @janeis25again

    What device have you got.

Are you logged into your account on the device.

I always have problems connecting my device to my desktop. I usually end up deleting My Drive and then reinstalling .. doesn't always work.. A real pain.

    Hi @T30man

Sometimes if when it is not connecting I find that whilst MyDrive Connect is still running diconnecting the USB for a couple of seconds and reconnecting can result in it being recognised..

Also, try right clicking on the 'My Drive Connect' icon on the system tray (bottom left of screen, in Windows) then click on "Quit".

Now, relaunch 'My Drive Connect' from the desktop icon, remember to double click, left button.

I find that to be my best recourse if things get jammed up. It clears any corrupt data from the cache memory and starts 'My Drive Connect' anew (as if you had just rebooted the PC).
