Why do i have to purchase maps when i purchased a maps for life model?

I cant update my via 125 anymore its supposed to be for life model ?? any help appreciated

    Tomtom has said models with lifetime maps will continue to receive them. So call support Monday but don't provide a model when prompted so that a live agent will respond:
