"No route possible" consistently displayed on Via 135 — TomTom Community

"No route possible" consistently displayed on Via 135

When I try to navigate to a destination on my Via 135, the display is consistently showing "No route possible". I have tried a factory reset but that hasn't helped. GPS Signal strength is 80% plus and the loaded map is Europe v1025.9426

    What restrictions do you have set in route planning?

    All route planning options are standard and should not affect a possible route being shown

    Are you tying to plan a off-road route ??? the Tomtom devices are road route planners
    if the planned route is not shown as a road or lane displayed on the Tomtom map
    Then No route is possible
    Also the route can be date sensitive i.e... Roads closed in winter Europe, National Parks in the USA closed in winter

    I'm unable to plan a simple route within a town. This is my 4th Tomtom device which has been more or less trouble free for over 5 years

    A "restore", Keeping on/off button pressed after unit had gone to sleep and subsequently connecting to Mydrive Connect) of the Via 135 has done the trick :)
