Sync in my TomTom Sports app disappeared! How get app to original settings?

Unfortunately I have managed to shut off the synchronizing function in the app to my TomTom Cardio Sports 3 watch.
I was using the app when a message came up that said something about ”reject”. I was a little too fast in pushing that button, not realizing what I was rejecting. Appearantly it was the ability to synchronize my watch to the app - and there is no way to get that function back!!! Or is there?

I suppose I can start a new account - maybe? - and start from the beginning again, but I am sad to loose all my data and all the settings. It seems so strange that no warning came up before I inadvertedly closed down this very vital function, and even stranger that there is no way to cancel that decision.

There used to be a section at the very too of the app that showed how to sync. But that whole box dissapeared and I cannot find any way of getting it back again.

Is there any way to get the sync function back to my present app/account. Or if not, is it possible to get everything back to original settings?

I sure would appreciate any ideas you might have on how to solve this. Thanx.

    You need to reset the pairing. You first need to remove the watch from the phone's BT menu (in iOS you have it forget the device) after you reset or try pairing again. The steps are: uninstall the app, remove or forget the watch from the phone's BT menu, factory reset the watch, reinstall the app, select Pair New on the app, select Pair New on watch (press down from the clock and select Phone>Pair New, not Sync) and follow the prompts on the phone. You should not be pairing the watch first through the phone's BT menu; it is all done through the app and you must have the phone forget the watch in the BT menu before re-pairing.
