When recording a route will the feature identify key stops along the route

Hi I am new to the forum and have recently purchased the GO 5200. The Record Route feature is ideal for planning new routes as a Driving Instructor and I wondered if the feature can also record, or identify stops along the route, where you may carry out specific manoeuvres. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Welcome to the community sorry for the late reply..

The record track feature is limited to record the start and the end point so it will not be able to add stops.

Also with the 6250 it seems to be recorded as a route instead of a track. I recorded one today, but when selecting the route, it reroutes over the quickest alternative road..
