    Was the card from a reliable source, not an auction site on the internet?

    From Amazon, it's a 64gb card.

    Can I suggest that you try re-formatting the Memory Card via the Go5100?

    Select:-
    Menu, Settings, System & then "Format Memory Card".

    Tried that, not let me do it. Says to format on pc then reset device and insert memory card when maps appear. Done all that but still doesn't recognise card.

    The maximum sized card the device can handle is 32 gb in size. Even that is overkill, I think. A 16 gb SanDisk is a good choice.

    Thank you I've ordered a 16gb card and will try it later!

    Hi
    @stat

    Be Aware...
    Maybe ???
    There are lots of Videos online... How to identify a FAKE Micro SD Memory Card
    Just Google 'Counterfeit Micro SD Cards'

    I downloaded the Micro SD Card Test Program 'H2testw' from Softpedia
    The program 'H2testw' checked out as Virus free
    It generates and copies 1GB files to the card until the card if full + Checks the Read/Write speed
    https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml

    Luckily all my cards check out OK

    Use the above at your own discretion...
