Issues with Map update on Go Live 820 Navigation Device

Hello
I have a GO LIVE 820 Car GPS. I have bought a map update a few days ago. I have no problems with uploading the updates to my PC, but when I want to transfer the updates to my GPS device, it says “Updating device” and “waiting on your device” or “preparing” – this goes on for a whole night or 6-7 hours and nothing happens. I have tried to restart the procedure several times, but with no luck.
Can someone please help?
Furthermore I am not able to find any contact-information to the tomtom costumer support on the webpage – phone number or e-mail ? – Preferable support in Danish, but in English is also alright; Can someone please help?
