GO 60 Doesn't update- MYDrive Connect- Waiting for device

Having downloaded the latest update to NAV 4 my device doesn't update! My computer just says "Waiting for your device" and has been for over an hour! I have tried a reset but to no avail! Any ideas

    Make sure you have a good USB cable. Try it on another computer. Install the TomTom software again (maybe the computer kicked out the driver for the device). After it connects delete the maps from the device first before updating / uploading new maps again. I know its annoying when you get a failure during an update (like your computer goes to sleep before the data is transferred). It takes hours to get the device functional again. Happened to me twice.
