map updates on start60 failed

[h2]I opened an issue in October 2018 (QUESTION 181016-xxxxxxx) and received a number of suggestions ALL of which failed. [/h2]
My maps are now 20 months out of date. I have tried a number of different laptops some with windows10 having been updated and a couple of brand new laptops with a new version of windows 10 on. These all fail to pick up when I attach my satnav to them (again using a different number of leads).

This christmas my son got a start62 and it loaded without any issue on all the devices i have tried with my older start60.

HELP !!!!!!!!!

    just before calling your support desk i tried one final time to reset my device to factory default... AND IT WORKED.

    the joys of technology .... you make a callout and only then does it behave itself !!
