Start 20 won't update

tom tom start 20 won't update.
I connect it to PC. I start "Tomtom drive connect". It says to me "obligatory update" (translated from Greek) and when I press the update button it opens "my documents" folder and nothing happens.

Please help.

    Hi @panospr

    Try a complete reinstallation of MyDrive Connect with a fresh copy, a simple double-click on the downloaded file. the installation will be in the language of your computer. This should normally solve your worries.

    My Start won't update at all. Every time I try (for over a week now, several times each day), all I get is 'We're very busy now, please try later'. That's not very inspiring. Perhaps I now have a useless lump of electronics.

    I have been busy for 2 weeks now to get an update for my TomTom Start25 but I still get the message that the servers are very busy.
    When can I update now, the holiday is now fairly short, so. .

    At the moment there are known problems with Tomtom servers

    I tried updating at different times of the day and night for 12 hours and it always ended up with the message "Woops something has gone wrong". I had the plug directly from the socket at the back of the device to the PC and My Drive. I took the mounting pillar out of the car and fitted the device on to that and within two attempts the Update downloaded.

    Totally illogical but that is the way electronic faults are. You car can go into Limp Home Mode and all of the specialists in the world won't find the problem and you have to trade it in eventually!
