Same old problem Tom Tom. Totally unacceptable download speed

I am, like thousands of others, downloading, or trying to download the latest maps for my 510. This first and then my 5100. It's grounded to a halt at 1% and showing 430 hours and 31 minutes left. Come on Tom Tom sort it out! That's 17.9166666666666 days, not including the 31 minutes. It's a b******y disgrace. Next purchase won't be a Tom Tom. Can anybody beat that time??

Don’t often stick up for tomtom but my map downloaded in less than 2 hours and that was over WiFi.

30 minutes for me by WiFi for full Europe, (8,2 GO) on my 6200. Do you have a good connexion?

Connection and speed has always been good. Complaints have been historical about the Tom Tom server speeds. I've downloaded previous map with little problem before. A couple of hours for the size of the file is acceptable. I have and have had a number of Tom Tom devices over the years and find them generally good, but a prompt of that timescale is not funny

Took me 12 minutes to download the current 3 updates for my TRUCKER 5000.
At home I use a fiber 300/300 Mbit connection.

Yes, I did see that, but mainly 02 customers appear to be affected by issue from problem involving Ericsson. I've had no problems with BT. I've checked network and speed. Both fine.
