Please could you advise if there is a way to only measure heart rate for certain sports and deactivate GPS/km and steps. I am an equestrian rider and when riding I only want to measure my heart rate. Steps and GPS/km are measured but not relevant to me but to the horse so I would like to turn them off for this sport.

Just use gym mode or treadmill mode, which are not GPS enabled. To not track steps you would need to turn off the Tracker feature separately. Press down and go to Tracker>Off and then go to Tracker>Goals and set a goal to run it back on.

I hope this helps answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.

    Hi,

Is there anyway to disable steps and GPS but keep heart rate so my heart rate stats get tracked. When i disable tracker > steps it doesn't track anything so the third party who tracks my fitness cannot see any activity. I just need heart rate to be active during my equestrian sessions.

    Thank you,
    Leanne
