I have just purchased a new Dell XPS15 laptop (My 5year OLD Windows 10 XPS15 Laptop can handle this) - Just installed MyDrive Connect on the Laptop and it manages to say "Connected" for about 20secs then disconnects. The device is showing in Network Adaptors (currently as a USB RNDIS6 Adaptor - have tried all the Drivers), but not as a USB connection like my phone. I have had to complete an update using my OLD laptop, but this cannot go on and need to get this laptop working. Any assistance welcome.

Hi
@Corkey62
Re "Download/installation interrupted".....
The Computer Manufacturers appear to be setting "USB Selective Suspend" to ON as default
Especially Laptops, maybe to improve the look of the battery life
Are your USB ports set for power saving "USB Selective Suspend"
Win7 See... http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/147369-usb-selective-suspend-turn-off.html
Win10 See… https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/73187-turn-off-usb-selective-suspend-windows-10-a.html
Click on link and scroll down to "Turn Off USB Selective Suspend"
Also turn off any Screen savers any other Power savers or USB port monitoring software installed
