Finally! A usable night mode!

By no means am I a seasoned and weathered rider, but I do ride long distances a lot, and sometimes that involve lots of night riding. Unlike most drivers and riders, I absolutely hate turning up the brightness of my instrument cluster, whether it is in my car or on my motorcycle. When it's dark, I want my pupils to get as much light from the road/environment as possible, instead of having bright clusters closing my irises more, which means harder to see the road.

One of my gripes about the Rider 400 and 410 is that when I ride at night with automatic night mode and night brightness set to 0%, the 400 and 410 are both still bright as heck. It is so annoying that it has made me not turn on the Rider when I commute at night on familiar routes.

Seems like the 550 has fixed that! Below is the comparison between my 410 and 550. It seems like the 410's 0% brightness is equivalent to the 550's 35% brightness! I am hoping that this brightness setting doesn't get tuned like the old 400 series in future updates. I only bring this up because apparently the time feature was removed at 18.200 when it was available at 18.103...

Pic 2: 410 and 550 shot at the same time when 410 is at 0% setting, and 550 at 35%. (I gauged the brightness based on the words and slider, because the 550 doesn't seem to shade the background map as much as the 400 series. Also, another thing I noticed is that the 550 doesn't add as strong of a vignette filter on background maps when in menu screens. I thought the strong vignette filter was a nice visual UI experience.)
