Plugged into a usb port that works with other usb devices. Error message on my PC says 'USB device not recognised'. Battery charging still works despite this.
Watch is firmly in cradle.
USB is firmly in port.
Have tried all the usb ports on my tower, same result.
Previously, when my pc did recognise the usb, the Connect software would open automatically, now it does not. If I open the Connect software manually, there is no difference - pc still does not recognise the usb.
Tried it with firewall and antivirus turned off - no change.
Good internet connection.
I only have the one pc and an ipad (no usb).
Cradle and watch pins are clean.

I've got the same problem. Found out that the two left pins in the cradle of the usb-cable were in in stead of out so they couldn't connect with the watch. I pulled them out a little with a wooden sateh stick and it worked again. I fear the problem will occur again. Can the cradle be replaced, can I buy a new one?
