Hi Just bought a tomtom golfer2 watch. It gives distance driven as stated, but if I help my partner look for a ball it keeps adding distance on my watch. Do I have to take my watch off and leave it with my bag when I help look for a ball. Does it only register distance driven if worn on wrist, or can you leave it on your bag all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

The distance will "lock" when you next strike the ball. It therefore doesn't matter where you walk between strikes! the watch uses GPS to measure between the two points, It does not track you route!
