Connecting to Sports app

I bought a new watch because the old one was broken.
was still hesitant to buy a garmin anyway because it does keep heartbeat above 130 accurate but by offer and spare strap and charger still the stupid choice made.
now with a watch that does nothing just ask connect and download the app.
does not react anymore.
now Monday but trying to get in touch, I can also take a few hours for it

    Welcome to the Community!

    Your watch has an old firmware version 1.7.53 installed on it. Please connect your watch to the PC, latest version 1.7.64 will be offered to you in Sports Connect software. Once you install the latest version, start from the scratch and reset the connections by removing the existing Bluetooth connections from your smartphone, see here: Android/iOS
