software won't install correctly-MyDrive Connect

I try to install the Windows version of MyDriveConnect and it says This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.

On your PC when you try to install MyDrive Connect (MDC), do you use a PC user account with administrator rights?
Uninstall MDC completely. Restart your PC, log in to with "an account with administrator rights" and redo an MDC installation.

If it doesn't work it is probably a Windows problem. What is your OS? (W10, W8.1, W7SP1)
