Hello,
My son gave me his GO6200 TomTom, this device is now linked to my TomTom account (by using mydrive connect), but the device remains connected to my son's tomtom account.
How do I change this?

Menu-->System-->Reset will allow you to enter your email address/pw.0

I have a similar problem – I can't change the email address after my service provider changed its suffix. Thus my old email address no longer exists; however, it will only change the password on the TomTom GO 6200 but not the email address.
Resetting the device hasn't resolved this, just caused it to lose all my previous data because I'm unable to log on into my MyDrive account.0 -

I am not sure whether they can do this but contact Customer support, wait until an agent answers, and see if they can change the email address for your old account.
If they can then input the new address and password into the GO6200 which you should be able to do after a Reset Device in System. then the unit should sync the data across.
