Can the SD card reader unit (or navigation box live) be bought separately?

    Hi logbo

    Welcome to the community :)

Yes, you will need a card reader separately for updating contents of your device.

    See page 10 here:http://download.tomtom.com/open/manuals/Mazda_Navigation_System_NB1/refman/Mazda-NB1-EU-LIVE-RG-v4-en-gb.pdf

    Regards

    Hi VikramK,

Thank you. I realise that I need which is why I was asking if it could be bought separately. Do you know if they can be bought directly from TomTom?

    Hi Longbo

Just the adapter or the card reader not provided by TomTom, but you can buy it online or from a retailer near you.

On the webshop we have a adapter, it can be purchased but when you buy a memory card.

    VikramK,

That is not answering my question in any way. I am asking if TomTom sell the Live Navigation Box (the sd card reader part of the NB1 system) separately?

What do you mean by Live Navigation Box? If you are referring to the device where the card is inserted then that it built-in and you are better off asking for help from the car manufacturer..

If you are asking for the card reader that connects to the computer then as mentioned earlier, tomtom don't sell those.
