Why do Rider 400 and 410 give different directions.

I created a track in myroute-app and saved it to my tomtom rider 400. I then bluetoothed the track to a mates rider 410. We then did the ride. But the two different satnavs using the same track gave different directions - Why?

    Hi
    @mdr2

    Were the both devices set up with exactly the same journey type options
    Did both devices have the same Map & Map version installed

    When copying a track, I dont think journey preferences come in to play, but both had full updates done within a day of each other. AFAIK journey prefs are the same

    You're right. The route preferences are ignored when using tracks.

    Can you upload here the track produced by MyRoute-app, the track in your Rider and the track stored in your friends device?

    IMHO, It's the only way to come into any useful conclusion...
