Firstly try....
Tap the 4Dot (.... Menu) --> Settings --> Appearance --> Display... Check if the Orientation lock has been set to 'ON'
___________________________
If the Orientation lock is set to 'OFF'... And the screen still doesn't Auto Rotate....
This has worked in the past for my Via 120 Live....
With the device turned on, hold the device firmly in one hand with the screen facing toward you...
Give the edge of the device a firm tap using the palm of your other hand
I don't know how a orientation sensor works but the firm tap brings it back to life
Be careful you do not drop the device in the process....
Thanks YamFazMan,
that was it but why set that on with just an update.
but all now Fine.
simple when you know how.
Thanks again for the quick response.

Hi, a lot of people have reported issues with the orientation sensor being too sensitive while riding causing the screen to go blank while changing orientation during turns or vibrations. Probably Tomtom just wanted to minimize the issues by setting this lock option to on ... ;-)
