New device cannot Log In having trouble accessing TomTom Services

New device, cannot Log In, having trouble accessing TomTom Services.
Thus the 4 updates I have been notified about are now languishing in the ether I know not where!
Lack of information from Tom Tom as to when I should "Try again Later" is not acceptable in this day and age.
Another large company fat on hubris is not what I need right now.

    Download & install the free version of Revo Uninstaller
    Here...https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
    Using Revo scans and removes all of the left over files a normal uninstall leaves behind

    (1)... Uninstall MyDrive Connect Using the Revo Uninstaller
    (2)... Clear your browsers cache (Optional, but I find it helps)
    (3)... Restart your PC
    Reinstall MyDrive Connnect (Without your device connected)
    Connect & Turn on your device... Login to MyDrive Connect

    Thank you for the above information, it provided a solution to the problem I had setting the Via 53 up.
    Lessons can now be learned to the effect that the customer should have been directed immediately to where this solution lay, not to be continuously told to "Try Again" building frustration levels to an unnecessary high level.
    I would therefore earnestly request that TomTom remedy this situation by supplying directional information as to the most direct way to solve this problem within the product itself, not having the customer trawl the internet for answers.
    The Via53 is my third TomTom piece of kit that I have owned with this last unit giving me grief that I could have done without!
