Running Win 7 Pro 64 bit version with latest updates.
Norton Security Suite.
ASUS RT-87U router.
Comcast internet with a pretty decent speed.
I had no problems with MyDriveConnect until about 6 months ago. Have followed every instruction by tech support (see other strings if interested), including reinstalling MyDriveConnect, using different versions, resetting the GPs and finally after following their instructions(ad nauseum) I now have a brick! The unit will turn on, show the spinning arrow for about 30 seconds and then turn off. Neither the computer of the MyDrive program recognizes that the GPS is attached.
Tech said they would fix it under warranty if it was still under warranty. They know %$##ing well that it isn't. As far as I'm concerned, Tom Tom destroyed it remotely and should fix it but that's a battle I won't win.
I've waited for two addition updates to see if the problem would work itself off but it hasn't.
Has anyone been able to solve this problem other than to buy a different brand? If so what did you do?
