Do tom tom have any plans to include bus lanes on their navigation systems

@silver surfer
What details are you wanting?
1) lanes only open at certain times? -- If a neighbouring lane is in the same direction, will be difficult to distinguish between them.
- If exclusive road, for 'normal' vehicles treat like a timed no-entry, but the difficult bit will be to not include Pro devices that have type set to 'bus'

Ideally all bus lanes on roads rather than pedestrian areas. I have been caught out a few times where the normal highway suddenly includes a bus lane. I appreciate bus lane in same direction maybe difficult but TOM TOM does provide lane guidance could this be adapted?1

I agree with your comment silver surfer about specific lane guidance, I was hoping as a coach driver that the tomtom 6250 I purchased recently would include and factor in bus lanes/routes/gates, buses only roads, 7.5 tonne goods restricted roads etc when routing in bus mode.. It doesn't appear to do so..0

As someone who has now had two PCN's this year thanks, in part, to my TomTom routing me down a bus lane, I would very much like to see this added.2

I just got a PCN from Norwich City Council for driving into the Grove road part-time bus lane ... following the TomTom directions which diverted me to avoid traffic. The device should issue some kind of warning when a road maybe a bus lane1

I have followed Tom Tom instructions and gone through a bus lane I could not get out of because a bus came right up behind me preventing me and it had cctv so I'm expecting a fine now. And in London this week it has twice taken me on bus only roads. Surely with todays technology tomtom can come up with these details to prevent us getting fines or will tom-tom pay our fines.1

I have just received a fine for driving in a bus lane as directed by TomTom Go520 and avoided another having noticed it doing the same last week. Please fix this. TomTom should know about bus lane restricitons.0

I support this request too.
It should be market at the map, so iGO for example could show an icon with info.
I don't think it is a big deal but such warning could be useful.

Hello @Simulacra , @Niall @vialiveuser @Kippax25uk @SteadyMan @Silversurfer
https://tfl.gov.uk/info-for/boroughs-and-communities/bus-lane-database
I did find this website with a database but it will only be able to access if asked.
Best to report a "other" issue in UK and then ask TomTom to be in contact to integrate this.
Will report back if it gets accepted, have a great day!
Sorry for all the pings/tags

Just received a PCN for driving down Oxford Street in Manchester during 'bus only hours' guided by my TomTom to avoid traffic. It should really not guide through a rout which results in a contravention. It would be very sensible and appreciated if TomTom would consider such vital feature. It's no less important than being aware of one way roads. If it is not legal it should not be a navigation rout option.0

Kindly note that this is not a maps issue but the device or algorism or app that is causing this. @lampard & @VikramK can you look into this?

Similar Issue - I was routed over London Bridge by my device - £65 fine for using the road between 7:00-19:00. Boss is going to kill me. Apparently has been like that since September. Feel like I might as well ditch the old thing and stick to waze.0
