Splitting watch straps

i am now on my 2nd strap for my runner 3 (the first was replaced under warranty) which has now split again making the watch unusable. I also have an older golf gps watch where the strap for this has also split . Why can't Tomtom seem to get the manufacturing of these right. I like the watch unit and its functionality but cannot continue to put up with straps which are not fit for purpose.

    Same here...my third just broke yesterday.... that's 2 in the last 7 months.
