I am using RLink2 to update my Nav. Update is way behind !
Although my car is brand-new (May 2018) the TomTom version is from 2016.
Each time I am trying to update the R-Link2 system tells me: "No Update available".
So far I did not receive a decent answer from Renault Support.
Sadly, R-Link support is in the hands of Renault and they do not seem stimulated to do everything to make you feel good. I feel like opening a petition on change.org to force Renault to hand over support of R-link systems to TomTom.
At least R-Link 2 has Android Auto/ Apple Carplay feature, where you can use latest maps on your phone and real live traffic maps (Waze, Google maps)
Good idea janisbvp! So far nothing has changed, still no update of the card software. So, please open a petition to force Renaul to handover support of R-link systems to TomTom.
