Hi all
We've just released a new software update v18.200 for the GO Wi-Fi®️️ 6200, 5200,620,520,VIA 53 PROFESSIONAL and Basic devices; it's available for download in the Updates & New Items menu of your device.

We've just released a new software update v18.200 for the GO Wi-Fi®️️ 6200, 5200,620,520,VIA 53 PROFESSIONAL and Basic devices; it's available for download in the Updates & New Items menu of your device.
Whats new:
- See who's calling: Devices that support hands-free calling can now show the picture assigned to a contact that is calling you.
- Improved call handling: Accept or reject an incoming call with just one press on the screen of your device.
- Joining up with saved routes: When you select a route in My Routes, you can choose between driving to the starting point or to the point closest to your current location.
- Settings shortcut: You can now access your device's Settings quickly and easily by tapping the status bar in the Main menu.

Why is the Bluetooth turned on with NO option to turn it off? I don't want Bluetooth on! TT62000

I would like to be able to quickly search in "saved places" - for example, tags, folders or something0

I don't notice anything about accepting or rejecting a call "with just one press on the screen".
But...
I do notice a new control to the right of the volume slider to turn off all notifications.
I wonder what other surprises lurk.0 -
yet another useless update...when are they ever going to give us features that we actually want and have asked for...oh and we already know that they haven't fixed bloody ALG yet....aggressive routing..not fixed....proper poi management...not fixed yet....being able to properly customise your expensive device...not fixed yet....the list goes on Tomtom....get it bloody sorted0

Hmmm updating does not work... tried over Wifi and tries over USB always get same error : Ooops something went wrong, please try again later (but in dutch since my device is set in dutch language) tried several times on several locations and nu luck ?0

If you have a Phone connected --> Tap on the connected Phone name --> Delete Phone
On your Phone --> Use your Phone menus to remove the TT6200 Bluetooth link

The MyPlaces list is already searchable...
The MyPlaces appear on the right-hand side of the Search screen
Say in MyPlaces you have...
Costa Worcester
Costa Bromsgrove
Costa Droitwitch
Costa Bridgnorth
Tap 4Dot (.... menu) Icon --> Tap Search
If you Type say 'C' a list of MyPlaces starting with the letter 'C' will appear on the right-hand side of the Search screen
Either continue to type 'Costa b' and the Costa Bromsgrove and Costa Bridgnorth outlets will display at the top of the list
Tap the blue keyboard Icon screen bottom right to clear the keyboard and display the list
Or
Tap 4Dot (.... menu) Icon --> Tap Search
Then type say 'C' and a list of MyPlaces starting with the letter 'C' will appear on the right-hand side of the Search screen continue to type 'Costa
Tap the blue keyboard Icon screen bottom right to clear the keyboard and a full list of costa outlets will display
PS... Tap 4Dot (.... menu) Icon --> Tap Search type say 'T' on the right-hand side of the Search screen will be all of your MyPlaces beginning with 'T'
But on the left-hand side of the Search screen will be a list of your recent destinations beginning with 'T'
Don't forget to Tap the blue keyboard Icon screen bottom right to clear the keyboard and display the list

thank you, this I saw, Yes, on the first letter are starting with the first letter and among MyPlaces, too,
but! but if I for example write airport (in "MyPlaces" this word the second) the the search all airports nearby, and me need to to see only the that in "MyPlaces",

Here's an example of a categorized search for London Airports
To show the Tomtom Built-in POI's for London Airports in a list or on the map, work your way down to option (2)
From the main screen
Tap the 4Dot (.... Menu) (Screen Bottom left)
Tap the Search Icon
Type Air (Or as much of the word that’s required for the Airport category to appear at the top of the right-hand column)
Tap the offered "Airport" (top of the right-hand column)
Note..... The initial offering (Right-hand column) will be local to your search
The Main search area turns blue and "Airport" is offered with a flashing cursor
Continue typing the town/city of the required Airport, Type London (Or as much of the word that's required for the category to appear at the top of the right-hand column... See Note(1)
After tapping the Keyboard Icon (Screen bottom right)
There is a now dual Icon (screen bottom right) with Three Lines and Two circles
(1)..... Tap the three Lines Icon (bottom right screen) and a list will appear of the London Airports in distance order
(2)...... Tap the Two circle Icon for the London Airports POI's to appear on the screen (Pinch zoom for detail)
There is also a Keyboard Icon (screen bottom right) to return to the search window from the options (1) and (2)
Note(1)... To save scrolling down the list of London Airports
To find say "Gatwick"... Type "London"(Space)"Gatwick" for Gatwick to be at the top of the search list

I have Bluetooth hands-free built into the car
With the GO 6200 setup as above
If I search for the GO 6200 as Bluetooth device on various devices
My Win 10 Tablet doesn't find the GO 6200
My Win 10 Phone doesn't find the GO 6200
My iPad doesn't find the GO 6200
My iPhone5 doesn't find the GO 6200
Maybe the GO 6200 Bluetooth is OFF... Maybe it isn't....
Everything works perfectly so it all fine by me

it is not just about the search for "Tomtom Built-in Paris" and among the "MyPlaces" (My saved Places)!
search by the second word among "Tomtom Built-in POI's" works fine and I see it and it is not necessary to write so much.
search on the second word among "MyPlaces" - does not work,
instead of search among " MyPlaces "are displayed not necessary to me in this case positions from" Tomtom Built-in POI's", and I need to look for the second word among MyPlaces
please tell the developers of this problem, tell them that it is necessary to make a full search for MyPlaces that does not work today0 -

Go60 Issues - Software Upgrade:
I have a Go 60 and Samsung Galaxy Note8. Ever since the upgrade to v18.2, my Go does not connect to live traffic. I've followed all the recommendations, i.e. making sure that the app is running and that I'm logged into the app on my phone, verify that Bluetooth is active. uninstall / reinstall the app on my phone, reset the Go device. In other words, the gambit of recommendations and suggestions all failed. Here is the weird thing about this issue. I've been working on this and researching ever since my family was preparing for a vacation. Of course I update my Go Everytime, I get a notification alert. Now the weird part, I was able to connect my phone twice to traffic, once while on vacation Aug. 17, 2018, and again yesterday. Every other time I try, it fails. When I connect my Go to my computer for updates etc., This is what I see:- Network Status: Connected
- Traffic: Activated
- Safety Camera updates: Activated
- MyDrive: Activated

Joining up with saved routes is a very welcome solution to a long awaited "bug" or functionality that was not working as you would suspect it would.
Other than that it looks like a very minor update to me.
I still miss Economic route a lot in the "Settings > Route Planning > Always plan this type of route" options. This is not the same as the Most eco-friendly route option. This option is for retards, and definitely made by retards. I makes you drive the 60 km/h parallel roads next to the 80 km/h main roads.
Economic route should be able to calculate routes that are significantly shorter in exchange for a minor addition of a few minutes of driving time, usually driving non-motorway shortcuts.

The mute button and day/night button have been there but the 3rd "stop all notifications button" (i.e. no calls, no SMS) is new, at least on my device. To further support this an identical model I did not yet update does not have that third button.
Now, of course, maybe for some crazy reason others have the third button, nothing would surprise me too much.0 -
