How to check on the status of a map edit submission?
I've submitted a map edit/update request to TomTom in preparation for a 24-month long construction project in downtown Reno, NV. This will affect the main flow of traffic and is crucial to get the updates out to as many vendors as possible. I've made the submission and already heard back from Google Maps and Waze (for the small side-street work), but I have yet to hear back from TomTom.
My questions are: (1) How long will it take to hear back and how long does it take TomTom to make the changes? (2) TomTom feeds to AppleMaps correct? So if TomTom makes this change, then Applemaps will be updated as well - correct?

Accepted changes there still can take 6-9 MONTHS before the change is incorporated in a map release.
So to be clear, TomTom will not update a map for 6-9 months when a street goes from 2-way to 1-way? And Apple, then as a result will be in accurate for 6-9 months as well?
Thanks for reporting this..
I will push the team so this correction gets a higher priority. I have forwarded them all the details.
Unfortunately I cannot promise on a time frame, but it will be treated as more important.

And here is a local news story talking about the project and how we are trying to get Google Maps updated.
