Tomtom rider 550 premium warranty

Hello. I recently bought on ebay brand new Tomtom Rider 550 Premium (in foils) and i have question. The seller didn't included original purchase receipt but stated on auction that device has 1 year warranty. I tried to contact him few times but he is not responding to any of my messages. I even recorded unboxing video to have a proof that device was brand new when i bought it. Now question to tomtom team is if the paypal / ebay receipt will be enough to claim warranty in case i will ever need it? Or i will end up with £499 brick? It is unlikely i will be able to return product. Will you honour ebay / paypal receipt? Please answer.
